2012 - foxes of east dulwich

In 2012 I have introduced foxes to the daylight streets of East Dulwich. Our urban environment is shared by many creatures. I feel that the fox is a metaphor for the times we live in, a contrast of the scrawny with the beautiful, the predatory and the cute, and representing the ongoing pressures of our daily lives.

2011 - politicians visit east dulwich

In this series Jolie enjoys bringing the politicians and public figures we see every day in the media to her local neighbourhood. David Cameron and Boris Johnson are seen out and about with the likes of Prince Andrew and Kate Middleton.

2010 - east dulwich and hastings

Scenes expected and unexpected up and down Lordship Lane and the side roads of East Dulwich.

Hastings has a special place in Jolie’s life and here she imagines herself in the well known vistas of Hastings.

2009 - post office

This series is of post offices. These drawings are inspired by the loss of local infrastructure to new technology and private profit. Jolie walks past the site of now closed sub-post office on Melbourne Grove nearly every day.
